Nota informativa relacionada amb un possible desgast prematur a les virolles de determinades crosses d'avantbraç, bastons d'alumini lleuger i virolles de goma amb inserció d'acer.
L'Agència Espanyola de Medicaments i Productes Sanitaris (AEMPS) ha tingut coneixement, a través de l’autoritat competent d’Alemanya, d’un possible desgast prematur a les virolles de determinats models de crosses i bastons, així com a virolles de goma amb inserció d’acer comercialitzades per separat, fabricades per l’empresa Ossenberg GmbH.
El desgast prematur podria atribuir-se a un lot defectuós, associat a anomalies en el material de les virolles. Aquest desgast, més ràpid de l'habitual, pot observar-se després de dues o tres setmanes d'ús i manifestar-se mitjançant un desgast significativament major en la superfície d'ús, l'aparició d'esquerdes o degradació del material i la reducció del perfil de la virolla.
A conseqüència d'aquest desgast, les persones usuàries podrien experimentar una disminució de la resistència al lliscament, una reducció de l'estabilitat del suport i fins i tot un risc potencial de caiguda.
Productes afectats
Els productes afectats són les crosses d’avantbraç KLASSIKER, KIDDY, JUNIOR y EASY, i els bastons d’alumini lleuger LM-Stock Kiddy i les virolles de goma amb inserció d’acer, comercialitzades entre agost de 2024 i agost de 2025. Les virolles afectades poden ser de color blau, gris o negre.
